The second annual staff-student basketball game was once again a nail-biting, tense, edge-of-your-seat exciting game. The Junior Basketball team, coached for this game by Avishai Gasner (grade 12), proved a difficult adversary for the staff, due to their strong rebound skills. However, with strong performances from Rabbi Spitz and Beit Midrash Avreich Josh Gutenberg (’06), the staff team made a respectable showing. Much credit for this surely goes to their coach, Shlomo Sabovich (grade 12). Thanks also to our grade 12 refs, Jeremy Piwko and Yoav Shumacher, as well as our grade 11 scorekeepers, Ezra Berman, Josh Mayer and Daniel Shore.
