After waiting for months for Shabbaton to arrive, we were not disappointed with the fantastic result! Though different from our standard Camp George routine, this year’s Shabbaton in Niagara Falls was incredibly memorable and meaningful. Friday was spent enjoying the Clifton Hill attractions, including an arcade, haunted house, and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum. Once shabbat began, we engaged in much singing, dancing, learning, and tfila. Motzei Shabbat was host to some dancing, followed by a schoolwide kumzitz. The grades had an incredible chance to bond with each other and with their teachers. We look forward to enjoy the continuing achdut that the Shabbaton inspired.
