This Yom Hazikaron was marked with sadness and significance by both schools. Our grade ten classes put on a meaningful presentation to commemorate the sacrifice of those who perished in the defence Israel, or in acts of terror. Their presentation of poetry, performance, video and song poignantly captured the serious and emotional tone of the day. Hearing from Rabbi Mazer about his army experience held special significance as well. As a Religious Zionist school, it was a day of deep respect and pride.
