Our first annual Yom Yerushalayim Celebration and School Dinner honoured graduates who served in the IDF or did Sherut Leumi. We also viewed video messages from some of them, as well as hearing reflections from Josh Wesfield (’06), Racheli Samuel (’11) and Yadin Koschitzky (’10). We were so proud to hear our graduates speak to well, so passionately about their experiences in Israel and how thankful they were for their education at Bnei Akiva Schools. The evening began with words from Rabbi Grauer, who highlighted the impressive accomplishments of many of our students over the past year.
