This past weekend, my fellow classmates and I were taken to the Kkinark Outdoor Centre for a retreat. During these two days we learnt many great skills such as team work, leadership training, trusting one another, and so much more. The first day, we did a low ropes course where we had to work together as a team to complete a task. One activity we did was where one person who had her eyes closed had to trust somebody else to guide her up a hill. We then went canoeing and had such fun getting to know each other. After dinner we had a bonfire where we all got to sit together, roast marshmallow, sing, and just relax. The next day, following an engaging davening, we all went on a great hike together where we could bond and enjoy the outdoors. Throughout the two days we also played a few games where we all got to learn more about everyone and even ourselves. I had such an amazing time being with my class and creating new memories that I know will last forever.
