Following davening and an enhanced breakfast, fathers and sons filled the Beit Midrash for the learning program. Following the chavruta learning portion, we heard from Rabbi Moshe Taragin of Yeshivat Har Etzion. Rabbi Taragin spoke about leaning during the Pesach seder. Nowadays, it may not seem so comfortable, but we try to remember the times when we’ve broken out of bad situations to remain strong. Today, we have our own country and have come out strong and free. As this was my last father-son learning experience as a YOC student, I will always remember these meaningful programs and the incredible energy of a Beit Midrash full of fathers and sons.
