Last Friday, with grade 12s writing their first exam, the new student council organized a tisch for grades 9 – 11 students. Grade 10s made cholents on Thursday afternoon and helped with set-up on Friday morning. At the Tisch, new Student Council President Coby Lyons delivered a dvar torah about new beginnings, connected to beginning reading Sefer Bamidbar and the Israelites wandering in the dessert before entering Eretz Yisrael. New JVP Ilan Shields delivered a brief dvar torah as well. Grade 10 and 11 students led the school in some spirited singing. It was a great way to end the week!
