On Monday evening, Or Chaim’s grade 12s gathered together at DANI for their grad dinner. Student Council President Roni Perez opened the evening, acknowledging each of his classmates and thanking the teachers for all they’ve done for the grade over the past four years. Mr. Lazar opened the evening, celebrating the growth and maturity of the grade. Rabbi Spitz delivered a dvar torah. Each student received a tribute from the teacher of their choice; the teachers shared kind words and perhaps even a joke or two, many using creative presentation formats. Mrs. Ripsman’s always-popular fun awards were another highlight of the evening. Mrs. Kagan spoke about the confidence she has in our students’ future success. The evening closed with a fun slideshow created by Ben Gross, featuring photos from all 4 years of their Or Chaim experience.
