The Thursday activities for the grade 12s were absolutely amazing, a great chance for us to bond as a grade. We finished off the day with a BBQ, cooked by our very own Chef Shlomo-Eli. When the other grades arrived we all really felt like leaders. The whole school looked up to us and it was a spectacular feeling. A highlight of the weekend was down time with Rabbeim and administrators, having the opportunity to get to know them on a personal level.

When we arrived on Friday, we started with lunch where Student Council President Coby Lyons welcomed us. There was a lot of cheering and great energy right away! The energy continued on Friday night during davening and the tisch afterwards with chullent made by the 12s.The YOC apparel included sweatshirts, sweatpants, and toques, designed by Daniel Edery and Ryan Lawton, which were really detailed and well made. Shabbat day continued the inspirational davening, interesting learning sessions with Rabbeim and amazing weather. The school band played on Saturday night – amazing songs, skillfully played; everyone enjoyed it and there was lots of dancing. We also had a school-wide gaga game. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
