Thursday’s mishmar took on special meaning given the day’s events in Israel. The school joined together for Maariv and Tehillim. Following dinner, grade 9 students participated in discussion groups with Rabbi Spitz and Rabbi Kleinberg. Grade 10 students participated in Chaburot with Dan Katz, Director of Mach Hach Ba’Aretz, and Rabbi Mazer. Grade 11 and 12 students engaged in a dialogue with Rabbi Chaim Strauchler of Shaarei Shomayim. They discussed reactions to attacks in France and Israel, considering the views of Canadian Religious Zionists. Thank you to Rabbi Strauchler and Dan Katz for joining us.
