On June 5th, Bnei Akiva Schools hosted a Yom Yerushalayim Community Celebration at Shaarei Shomayim. This memorable evening celebrated Yerushalayim and strengthened our connection to this momentous day in history. We also celebrated our honourees Karen and Yisrael Dov Meyer, in recognition of their commitment to our schools and to the greater Religious Zionist community in Toronto and Israel. The evening also included a special performance by IDF Chief Cantor Lieutenant Colonol Shai Abramson and the IDF Choir. Thank you to our Dinner Chairs Sarena Koschitzky and Aryella Weisz, as well as our Honourary Chair Michael Lax, for all your hard work and dedication in making this evening so memorable. An additional thank you goes out to all of our volunteers who devoted so much of their free time to helping us execute such a successful event.
