Grade 11 and 12 students gathered in the MPR for an assembly focused on the importance of mental health. Mrs. Temima Cohen introduced the program, incorporating some video clips into her introduction. Mr. Ed Schild, Executive Director of Regesh Family and Child Services, then spoke to the students. He addressed what mental health means, how to improve mental health, and how to recognize when you need mental health help. Finally, Shimmy Nauenberg (grade 12 student) spoke to close the program. All speakers emphasized the importance of seeking help when needed and that there is always someone you can talk to about how you are feeling.
