At a flash tisch, students extended their best wishes to Akiva Friedman, who will be returning to Israel shortly, where he will complete his Education degree at Herzog College. Rabbi Spitz and Jacob Herman (grade 12 student) spoke about the impact Akiva has had in his few short months here. Shane Judelman (grade 12 student) presented Akiva with a card signed by many of the students and staff. Akiva closed the program, speaking about how he’s enjoyed learning with our students in the warm YOC atmosphere.
