On Tuesday during lunch, Ulpana students and staff gathered to say “shalom” to the shlichot Hodaya and Shilat and to thank them for their contributions at Ulpana for the past five months. Hodaya and Shilat returned to Israel on Wednesday night to continue their studies in education at Herzog College in Jerusalem. The celebration included a pizza and ice cream party as well as meaningful tributes from two students and Team Canada jerseys signed by the students and staff at Ulpana. Hodaya and Shilat also prepared a game of “Kahoot” with questions about Israeli culture focusing on things they taught the girls through various programs. Everyone enjoyed this fun game and dose of healthy dose of competition.
