The senior basketball team competed in Yeshiva University’s annual Red Sarachek Tournament. The team played a number exciting games, including their final game, a 47 – 46 win. The team enjoyed spending time together and had an amazing Shabbaton as part of the tournament.
A number of grade 12s traveled with the team as well, traveling in NY and cheering the team on. The group visited YU and had shiurim with Rabbi Mordechai Willig, Rabbi Meir Goldwicht and Rabbi Hershel Schachter. They visited the 9/11 Museum and MoMa, finding the 9/11 memorial particularly impactful. They enjoyed a beautiful Shabbat in Engelwood, including a special Seudah Shlishit and Havdalah with Rabbi Zev Reichman.
