At YOC, grade 10 students led the assembly. They focused on individual soldiers who lost their lives defending Eretz Yisrael. Candles were lit in memorial and a perek of tehilim and the kel male were recited. The students heard from Dr. Ifat, a former paratrooper for the Israeli army. Thank you to Mizrachi Canada for arranging Dr. Ifrat’s talk. The assembly closed with the yeshiva singing Ani Maamin together. Thank you to Rav Yair, Elkanah and the grade 10s for this meaningful program.
