Mrs. Shelley Christensen spoke to students at both schools. She spoke about the differences between exclusion, inclusion, segregation and integration. Her message encouraged students to see beyond labels and look beyond disabilities and to understand the person beneath the exterior. Sharsheret Pink Day
YOC’s chesed committee encouraged students to wear pink and donate to Sharsheret, an organization dedicated to supporting women with cancer. Many students dressed in pink and the committee raised about $200. Thank you to everyone who contributed and participated!
YOC Rebbe Mishmar
Students learned and dined in their Rebbes’ homes. Learning focused on various perspectives related to Tu Bishvat. Rabbi Goldberg’s shiur was honored to be joined by Rabbi Reuven Taragin of Yeshivat Hakotel.
