YOC Netivot Grade 6 and 7 Visit

​Netivot grade 6 and 7 students visited YOC on Wednesday morning. They participated in a fun gym session with Mr. Skarott; pre-Pesach learning with Rabbi Mazer and a spirited kumsitz with Rav Yair. Our students learned in chaburot and helped lead the kumsitz. Netivot and YOC staff and students alike really enjoyed the visit!

YOC 11 Leadership Seminars

Grade 11s participated in leadership seminar, with an eye toward their roles next year, particularly related to the upcoming student council elections. On Monday Ulpana students experienced an Israeli shuk! We got to try maloach, falafel, homemade chumus, and waffles. The Israeli atmosphere could be felt ​throughout the building! Father Son Learning

In partnership with BAYT, Mizrachi and Bnei Akiva, YOC participated in the Tanach-a-Thon, learning in zchut of Eretz Yisrael. BAYT’s Beit Midrash was full of meaningful learning – and the entire Tanach was learned in one single morning. It was truly an inspirational program.
