Students selected from three options: skiing / boarding at Mt St Louis; a day of learning at school; or Skyzone and Playdium. YOC Tu Bishvat
Tu Bishvat activities at YOC involved 3 activities, with the Houses competing. There was a Beit Midrash Trivia Challenge (won by the Golani house), the Planting Challenge Game (won by Tzanchanim) and a Tu Bishvat gameshow, using smartphones to select correct answers (also won by Golani). UO Tu Bishvat
The school joined together for a learning program, led by Ulpana’s new shlicha, Atara Shtul. They learned what Tu Bishvat means and why we celebrate it. We also read Tu Bishvat poems and heard Tu Bishvat songs. To finish the program, students participated in a Tu Bishvat karaoke and enjoyed some delicious fruit.

This past week, Ulapana made Chanuka a very meaningful and enjoyable holiday for the girls. YOC Chanuka Trip to L’Chaim Nursing home
On Thursday, a group of students traveled to L’Chaim Nursing home. They sang songs, danced and shmoozed with the residents. The seniors appreciated our visit and the students enjoyed the chessed opportunity.
