YOC grade 9 and 10 students heard from Mrs. Liwerwant, whose son, Uriel Liwerwant (z”l), a former tank commander for Tzahal. Students learned about her son’s tragic story and appreciated the powerful messages she left them with. Thank you to Rabbi Pituchey Chotam for arranging this opportunity for our students.
Matmidim BBQ
The Matmidim gathered in Rabbi Grauer’s backyard for a delicious BBQ to celebrate a successful year of extra learning. The students were addressed by Rabbi Mazer, Rabbi Goldberg and Danny Buckler (grade 11). Students were presented with sforim to acknowledge their dedication to learning lishma. We look forward to learning together again next year!
