Grade 11s participated in leadership seminar, with an eye toward their roles next year, particularly related to the upcoming student council elections. Last Friday, teams from each grade participated in the Annual Charity Cholent Competition. Israel Week at UO
On Monday Ulpana students experienced an Israeli shuk! We got to try maloach, falafel, homemade chumus, and waffles. The Israeli atmosphere could be felt throughout the building! Father Son Learning
In partnership with BAYT, Mizrachi and Bnei Akiva, YOC participated in the Tanach-a-Thon, learning in zchut of Eretz Yisrael. BAYT’s Beit Midrash was full of meaningful learning – and the entire Tanach was learned in one single morning. It was truly an inspirational program.
YOC Megilla Reading and Breakfast
A number of YOC students, fathers, staff and alumni joined us on Purim morning. Rav Yair led us in an energetic davening; Rabbi Spitz leined Megilla. We then had a delicious breakfast.
