GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Gifts made to the Annual Fund are used by the school to support several priority programs with an immediate impact on our students. These programs help us deliver educational opportunities focused on academic excellence in Jewish and Secular studies, and a commitment to Torah, Jewish values and the centrality of Eretz Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael. These opportunities include learning and athletic programs, new academic and technological initiatives, professional development and more.
Our students’ education is enhanced by a variety of learning programs and co-curricular events. Sponsoring these programs offer an impactful way to elevate your family’s personal connection with the event. From monthly Parent-Child Learning programs, to the Art Show or Literary Night, event sponsorships can be a meaningful way to commemorate a Yartzheit in your family or a dedication towards a special occasion.
The establishment of the BAS Foundation (Endowment Fund) is a significant highlight of our schools’ history; not only for us, but also as an achievement for the Jewish community at large. Your investment in the BAS Endowment Fund helps ensure that families with financial hardships who cannot afford tuition will continue to benefit from a Jewish education from our schools for many years to come.
The continued growth of our endowment funds is essential for ensuring we can provide the opportunity for families requiring financial assistance to attend our schools. We use the annual interest and capital gains from the funds invested through the UJA Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto to help address the challenges of the tuition crisis. All gifts are eligible for a donation receipt through the BAS Foundation (charitable registration number 758776322 RR0001).
Memorial or Tribute donations can be a touching way to express your sympathy following the loss of a loved one, or to congratulate someone on a special milestone or achievement in their life. With your permission, we will send a personalized card letting the recipient know a donation has been made on their behalf.
