The brand-new Business Club had its first meeting. We heard from guest speaker David Mansell, Managing Director of Onex Corporation. He spoke about the differences between venture capitalism and private equity. He also explained how businesses are financed. At the end of the presentation, he spoke candidly about personal experiences. He spoke about the challenges of being religious in this field of work. His advise was to make sure that you draw clear lines with your employeer and make sure not cross it. Thank you to Josh Mayer for initiating the club and arranging for the speaker.
