The girls had a scavenger hunt, finding hidden teachers in the school area. They ended up back at school for warm latkes, hot chocolate and a surprise visit from DJ Phil!

19 Kislev is an important date on the Chabbad calendar, which our students learned about at mishmar this week. We held a fabrengen, full of divrei torah, singing and grape juice l’chaims. Thank you to guests Rabbi Stein and Rabbi Plotkin for joining us!

YOC Shabbaton
The shabbaton kicked-off on Thursday with the grade 12 playing paintball and then preparing for the rest of the school’s arrival at Fern Resort. The shabbaton was enhanced by several guests. University Night
Grade 12 students and parents attended a university night, focused on the application process and the options available. Presentations included applying to Ontario, US and Israeli universities. Representatives from several universities attended. The evening was informative and well-attended. Thank you to Mr. Rapp, Mrs. Kagan and Mrs. Weinberg for organizing the program.
